TOM WISE, President & Technical Director
Mr. Tom Wise has served as a principal and firm owner for 25 years. He
has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and has 34 years professional
experience in engineering, and environmental consulting and training. Mr. Wise is a Certified Environmental Manager in Nevada and is licensed and accredited to practice asbestos and lead consulting in several states. His education and experience qualify him for the designation of Professional Industrial Hygienist. Mr.
Wise's environmental experience includes serving as the Lead and
Asbestos Resource Director for a company with eleven offices, where he
was the company's project designer for major environmental remediation
projects across the country. Since 1989, Mr. Wise has been
involved in over 5,000 environmental projects in eight states and has
authored environmental training courses for asbestos, lead, and fungal
abatement/remediation. Mr. Wise has served as the principal trainer for approximately 700 EPA accredited environmental courses over the last ten years. His fungal remediation course was endorsed by UNLV's Harry Reid Center for Environmental Studies and he has developed a Fungal Remediation Plan approach that has been used on hundreds of projects. Mr.
Wise is a popular seminar and conference speaker on environmental
issues and has had an article published in a national environmental
publication.

SHARRI WISE - Business Manager
Sharri
joined our team at the beginning of December 2009. She brings with her
over 25 years of experience in a variety of industries; including
insurance, oil and gas, commercial and residential real estate, retail,
and private business owner. Her position as Senior Development
Accountant with Trammell Crow Co. built the knowledge base of budgeting,
forecasting and streamlining operational procedures. During the course
of her experiences she has learned to evaluate and reduce unnecessary
spending while keeping the integrity needed for wonderful customer
relations.

DANA J. CARLTON, Environmental Consultant
Dana
has over 16 years environmental remediation experience. His
environmental remediation work experience consists of supervising many
different types of remediation, including Asbestos, Fungal, Lead and
Hantavirus. His environmental consulting work experience consists of
asbestos, fungi (mold), lead, and radon projects. He holds EPA
accredited certification along with Licenses in Nevada and California in
Asbestos as an Inspector, Project Designer, Management Planner, and
Supervisor. Dana also holds Lead certifications and licenses for Project
Monitor and Inspector/Risk Assessor in Nevada and California and Tribal
Lands in Nevada.

ROB LANIER, Environmental Consultant, Certified Indoor Environmentalist
Rob has an engineering curriculum background from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and over 21years experience in Construction Project Management. Joining
WISE in 2004, Rob is a licensed asbestos consultant as well as a
Certified Indoor Environmentalist CIE) under the Indoor Air Quality
Association (IAQA). He has been involved in a large number
of fungal and asbestos inspection projects, and has had key roles in
project monitoring and clearance sampling on both small and large
abatement / remediation projects. Rob has also attended a lead abatement course and is involved in monitoring commercial lead projects. Rob assists as an instructor in the firm's environmental remediation courses.

JESSICA WISE, Environmental Consultant
Jessica recently returned from working with Children of the Nations in Honduras. You can read all about her adventures on her blog, or you can find out more about the Hope Center in Honduras and Honduran Hydrocephalus. Now Jessica is off to Guadalajara for medical school. JAMES FURMAN - Environmental Inspector
James is a recent addition to the WISE team as a certified Initial Asbestos AHERA Inspector. He has also completed the Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting course through the WISE training facility. James will graduate from the University of Nevada, Reno in December 2010 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management. A Reno native, he is an avid adventurer and loves to spend time in the outdoors.

ROXANNE PISKEL- Administrative Assistant
The newest member of our staff, Roxanne, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Sierra Nevada College. She was granted the 2004 Editor's Award for her work on the Sierra Nevada College Review. Roxanne comes to WISE with over 10 years experience in office coordination, as well as a background working with EPA, OSHA and Air Quality regulations. Prior to working at WISE, she was an Account Manager for a local firm that certified auto body shops across the U.S. as "green."
